Our Florida Concealed Carry and Intro to Pistols Private Lesson offers a personalized learning experience in a safe, inclusive environment for you, your family and friends.
Whether you're completely new to firearms or looking to brush up on your skills, this private lesson empowers you with knowledge, confidence, and practical techniques for responsible firearm ownership.
Our course is split into three parts:
Florida Self-Defense Law (50%) – Understand Florida’s concealed carry and self-defense laws to help you stay legally protected.
Pistol Basics (25%) – Learn safe handling, grip, stance, and sight alignment.
Live Fire & Range Time (25%) – Demonstrate your skills in a live-fire setting to earn your completion certificate.
We offer the flexibility of in-person learning, or virtual learning for single day, or multi-day setups to suit your schedule. Knock it all out in one day or split the classroom portion and range portion into separate sessions. It’s up to you.
Duration:
Classroom learning
2.5 to 3 hours for virtual sessions
3 to 3.5 hours for In-person sessions.
Live Fire Range time
1 .5 to 2.5 hours for virtual learners
1 to 2 hours in person (based on headcount).
Location:
Virtual Learners - Complete classroom training online via Google Meet, then schedule range time separately. If you want to complete both in one day, sessions must be requested at least two weeks in advance.
Single day in-person classes and live fire range time will be completed at Orlando Gun Club* - 2 Locations available - Millenia and Ocoee.
How Much Is the Course and What’s Included?
$100 per person – Includes classroom training, pistol basics, and live-fire session.
Virtual Class + In-Person Range Time – Limit 6 learners per session; all must attend the same range qualifier.
In-Person (1-2 learners) – Includes full course at a designated range.
In-Person Groups (3+ learners) – Includes full course. Requires classroom rental ($100 flat fee, waived for groups of 7+).

Florida laws: We offer a full curriculum that covers the laws that govern the use of force. Topics include:
Self-defense in the home and in public.
Scenario based training to help you think through common self-defense situations.
Places you can’t carry.

Intro to Pistol: We offer a crash course in how to safely handle, store, grip and shoot a pistol. Believe it or not, many Concealed Weapons courses do not include this. But with our course, you’ll leave with a working knowledge of pistols and their use for lawful self-defense.
Range Time and Hands-On Practice: Hone your skills with practical, real-world drills and live-fire exercises. (Ammo and Range fees included)
After course resources: Access to resources to help you retain the information you’ve learned and grow your knowledge base.
